Reminder From Administration A reminder that the top parking lot is not a drop off zone for students. We have had many close calls of accidents involving students and other cars and we want to keep everyone safe. Please use the traffic circle to drop your child off in the morning. Officer Boone will begin patrolling the top parking lot soon as a reminder to our families to use the traffic circle. Parents who work with Morning Mile need to check in with Mr. Garrett to make sure you have the parking pass. --2/3 teachers This Week: Reading: This week we finished up our work with Wilma Unlimited. We read the author's note at the end of the book carefully to see what else we could learn about Wilma Rudolf. Students also practiced reading biographies at their own level and interest. Students talked with their partners and the class about what they learned and wondered while reading their own self-selected biographies. At the end of the week we read another biography about Sonia Sotomayor.
